Docent Art Program

Docent Art is an art appreciation program designed and created by a committee of volunteer parents and teachers to give our students an opportunity to view, discuss and learn about various masterpieces and the artists who created them.  A volunteer docent conducts a 30 minute classroom discussion with the children exploring a specific artist, period or medium.  All the units have been designed and materials are provided by the Docent Art Committee.  All you have to do is find a time that is convenient for you and your teacher and present the materials that we will provide you.
