Student Learning Takes Off This Year with New “LaunchPad”
To support our new BYOT teaching and learning environment, the Scituate Public Schools is very excited to officially introduce a new K-12 technology tool. Launchpad by Classlink was tested last spring in a few elementary and secondary classrooms. Because the feedback from students and teachers was so positive, SPS has decided to fully implement Launchpad district-wide for the 2014-2015 academic year. Launchpad provides streamlined access to district technology applications such as Aspen, Lexia, Pearson, and VoiceThread in addition to single sign-on capabilities. Launchpad also allows students to access classroom applications and their documents from any device with any browser. Everything in one place, with only one password to remember! Launchpad helps to equalize devices as it functions exactly the same no matter what device a student is using.
