All Hatherly students entering grades 5 - 6* have a two part
summer math assignment:
- Online assignment on Study Island
&
- Summer Math Packet

To Log on to Study Island:

1. Open any browser and go to www.studyisland.com
2. Put in your user name and password.
Username is in this format: firstlast@hatherly
Password: math (unless you changed it)
3. When you log in you will see a class page and click on the assignment title: Summer Math Assignment - Study Island.
4. .You can then click on "Start Studying" or the assignment title again and begin your assignment.
5. When you have completed 100 questions and have a 70% or better then the assignment is complete..
6.  More practice, and games, can be accessed by clicking the student’s grade level on the left hand side of the screen.  Several topics appear and all can be worked on throughout the summer.

* Students entering 3 to 6 are assigned Study Island Summer math work but grades 3 and 4 may shut down in July. If students do complete the assignment prior to its shutting down then they will receive a prize in September.
