January 31 - Day 6

StuCo FOOD DRIVE – This week, take part in the food drive competition. The class collecting the most food will earn 150 spirit points. Let’s get into the giving spirit!

Spirit Week- Tomorrow if Farmer’s Day. Wear your best plaid outfit along with your overalls to earn points for your class! As of right now the sophomores are in first place with 67% of their class dressing up!

French Exchange – Any current sophomore or junior French student interested in hosting a student and then travelling to France next year are invited to an informational meeting on Wednesday, February 1 at 7PM in the SHS library. Please see Mr. Haddad or Ms. Scott for information.

Math Club – There will be a meeting on Wednesday, 2/1 after school in Ms. Donnelly’s room to prepare for Thursday’s meet. Please see Ms. Donnelly or Mr. Parkins with any questions.

Drama Club – There will be mandatory meeting for all actors, crew and techies planning on coming to festival this year on Wednesday, February 1st at 2:30 in the auditorium.

Best Buddies – will meet on Wednesday, February 1st at 2PM in Rm. 125. We hope to see you there.

Model UN – will meet on Thursday, February 2nd in Rm. 241. Everyone going to New York must come with their position papers and payment.

ASVAB Exam - The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery exam, or ASVAB, will be administered at Scituate High School on Wednesday, February 8, 2012. The ASVAB Career Exploration Program has tools and resources to help students explore possible career paths based on their own interests, skills, aptitudes, and work values. With parent/guardian approval, current 10th, 11th & 12th graders are eligible to take this exam. Permission slips are available in the School Counseling Suite. Signed permission slips must be returned to this office by Friday, February 3, 2012. Please note that student information and test results from the ASVAB will NOT be shared with military recruiters.
