KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION

The 2013-2014 Scituate Public Schools' Kindergarten Registration will take place January 8 from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM and 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, and again on January 9 from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Kindergarten Registration will be centralized (for all schools) and will take place in the Scituate High School Library.

Our goal is to keep students in their neighborhood or "home" school, although potentially some students could be placed in other schools to maximize the efficiency of our Full-Day Kindergarten (FDK) and Half-Day Kindergarten (HDK) programs.

• The following materials are required for registration:

o Birth Certificate
o Proof of Residency
o Immunization Record
o SPS Registration Form (completed)
o Transportation Form (completed)
o Home Language Survey/DESE (Department of Elementary and Secondary Education) Form (completed)
o Kindergarten Application – Attachment A: FDK/HDK Indication (completed)
o Developmental History (completed)

Children who are 5-years old on or before September 1, 2013 are eligible for Kindergarten.

Scituate Public Schools offers:

Free Half-Day Kindergarten and
Tuition Based Full Day Kindergarten
